I spent the last 3 days on a business trip in Madrid. It’s been a long week with not much sleep! I actually worked on Saturday morning in London and flew out Sunday morning (which involved waking up at 2am) to do some sightseeing around Madrid. It’s quite a big city but a lot less crowded than London. Given the short notice, it was actually the first time I went abroad without knowing anything about the place or language! But I guess it’s worth taking advantage of such opportunities.
Work itself wasn’t too bad. I won’t go into any detail but it was certainly a very good experience to be working on-site and seeing our customers face-to-face, instead of just via emails. My hotel room was pretty nice too! Would be nice to have one of these beds at home, I’d never wake up!
