My flat in London

Posted by on 22 January 2005

Ok, so I’ve moved in since October but never really settled down or got round to doing anything I want. It took me long enough to find myself some accomodation this year in London. Being in Switzerland and all, it’s not so easy, but I’ve been living here for almost 4 months now, and it’s quite nice and it gives me my fair share of exercise since it takes me 30 minutes to walk to college every day. Somedays I even come back for lunch, so I could be walking for 2 hours in total!

Any how, I’ve uploaded some pics (as requested by my brother). Just to give you the idea of what I’m living in.

They also installed new double glazing which has made living here so much nicer. Before, I just had the old, cold, single glazing. So it felt like a fridge if I didn’t have the heating on, and the traffic noise was almost unbearable at first. Now, it’s been installed, it’s almost silent, although you can still hear the police cars whizzing by.

So now that I’ve moved all my furniture back to where it should be, I can finally get into studying…(haha, yeah right).

As I’ve said, my timetable’s really packed this term. At least 22 hours a week of lab and lectures, with lab reports to write, problems for tutorials to do, and revision for exams in May. I better get started…
